A big thanks to everyone who created pipes, gave us feedback, and entered the contest. We received a lot of great feedback that will help make Science Pipes a more useful tool.
And the winners are...
Community Choice Award
Congratulations to Angela Petersen for winning the People's Choice award -- the pipe with the highest rating by the user community. Angela produced a pipe that compares the average number of Black-capped Chickadees throughout the year for New York, Ohio, and Florida. It's interesting to see the increase in size of the groups during winter in the north, but not the south.

Best eBird Visualization Award
Congratulations to Wim van Dam who won the Best eBird Visualization Award -- the most interesting visualization of eBird data, chosen by eBird and Science Pipes staff. Wim van Dam produced a pipe that allows you to compare average counts throughout the year for the Pacific Coast (Alaska, British Columbia, Washington, Oregon and California). We like the ability to compare different states and "see" migration.
